Most AAC platforms require student accounts, track usage, and store personal information. ChirpBot does none of that.
Students never create accounts or log in. The app works immediately on any device with no setup, no profiles, and no personal information entered.
When a device links to your account, only an anonymous device ID is stored. You assign optional nicknames yourself. We never ask for or store student names.
We don't track which words students tap, how long they use the app, or what sentences they build. No student behavior data is collected or shared with anyone.
The only data on our server is your teacher account and which learning level is assigned to which anonymous device. That's it. No student PII. Nothing to breach. Nothing to subpoena. Nothing in the way of FERPA, COPPA, or district approval.
